What you will be doing:
  • Working as a Control System Engineer alongside project teams and mentors to develop the primary control system, Siemens PCS7.
  • Developing control schemes for a variety of air separation and cryogenic liquefaction projects.
  • Taking responsibility for generating hardware specifications, designing software with the CFC Library, and creating related drawings and specifications for international projects.
  • Designing and implementing control system functions for facilities, including system architecture, networking, programming, documentation, and developing Human Machine Interface (HMI) graphics.
  • Setting up and testing IT infrastructures and configurable network devices as part of the DCS network.
  • Demonstrating strong design and leadership capabilities, prioritizing safety, and showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, and innovative problem-solving.
  • Providing control system software acceptance tests, loop checks, and field support for troubleshooting during the commissioning and startup phases of projects.
  • Collaborating with project team members to implement cost-effective control system strategies that optimize plant process control.

What makes you great

  • For this role you must have the ability to travel up to 25% per year
  • Understanding of process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), schematic wiring diagrams, symbology for process controls (hardware & software), I/O distribution & networking, PLC configuration, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of function block, structured text programming languages, along with SIEMENS PCS7 experience
  • Good commands of English in written and spoken
